Otre Madre Utero 

Come campo simbolico del contenere, del generare, del custodire e del trasformare. L’opera prosegue la mia ricerca sulla casa come corpo e sul corpo come primo luogo dell’abitare. Qui la casa non è più architettura, ma matrice: cavità, grembo, spazio materno, forma antica della protezione e dell’appartenenza. Realizzata in cemento armato, ferro e oggetti ospitati, l’opera mette in tensione la durezza della materia con la vulnerabilità del vivente. Il cemento costruisce una presenza solida, quasi archeologica, mentre il vuoto interno rimanda a ciò che accoglie, conserva e rende possibile la nascita. Otre Madre Utero interroga il rapporto con la Madre Terra, con il materno originario e con il bisogno umano di tornare a una casa primaria: quella da cui proveniamo e che continuiamo a cercare nelle relazioni, nei luoghi, nei corpi. Otre Madre Utero brings together three primordial presences contained within its title: the waterskin, the mother and the womb. Not as a simple combination of images, but as a symbolic field of holding, generating, protecting and transforming. The work continues my exploration of the house as a body and the body as the first place of dwelling. Here, the house is no longer architecture but matrix: cavity, womb, maternal space, an ancient form of protection and belonging. Made of reinforced concrete, iron and enclosed objects, the work creates a tension between the hardness of matter and the vulnerability of living beings. The concrete establishes a solid, almost archaeological presence, while the inner void evokes that which receives, preserves and makes birth possible. Otre Madre Utero reflects on the relationship with Mother Earth, with the primordial maternal principle and with the human need to return to an original home: the one from which we come and which we continue to seek through relationships, places and bodies.
