Land Poetry

La land poetry nasce, nella mia ricerca, come sviluppo naturale della land art: dalla relazione diretta con il paesaggio, con i suoi materiali, le sue forme e la sua memoria, la parola poetica entra nello spazio e diventa parte dell’opera. La poesia non viene soltanto letta, ma raggiunta, attraversata; è una parola che si incontra per caso lungo un sentiero, diventando essa stessa sentiero poetico, accompagnando il cammino e costruendo relazioni. Può abitare un luogo deserto, un albero, una foglia nuova, è una foglia diversa,  un materiale che appartiene già a quel paesaggio e che proprio per questo ne conserva la natura, il tempo e la trasformazione. Il fruitore non è davanti alla poesia, ma dentro la situazione poetica. La incontra nello spazio attraverso il corpo, il movimento, la sosta, lo sguardo. La poesia diventa così una pratica di relazione: relazione fra parola e paesaggio, fra parola e materia, fra luogo e presenza umana.

Land poetry emerges in my practice as a natural development of land art: through a direct relationship with the landscape, its materials, forms and memory, poetic language enters space and becomes part of the work itself. Poetry is not only read, but reached and traversed; it is a word encountered unexpectedly along a path, becoming a poetic path in its own right, accompanying the journey and creating connections. It may inhabit a deserted place, a tree, a new leaf, a different leaf, a trunk, a stone, or a material that already belongs to that landscape and, for this very reason, carries within it the nature, time and transformation of the place. The viewer is not standing in front of the poem, but within the poetic situation. The encounter takes place in space through the body, movement, stillness and gaze. Poetry thus becomes a practice of relationship: between word and landscape, word and matter, place and human presence.
