Superfici abitate nasce dall’osservazione degli oggetti quotidiani come presenze vive, capaci di trattenere memoria, uso, affezione e sguardo. Tazzine, caffettiere, bicchieri e frammenti di oggetti amati diventano piccole architetture sensibili, case minime in cui l’occhio può entrare e sostare. Su queste superfici compaiono forme organiche in pastacarta, simili a funghi, presenze che abitano l’oggetto e ne modificano la percezione. L’opera interroga il confine tra inerte e vivente: ciò che appartiene alla casa non è mai soltanto cosa, ma materia attraversata dal tempo, capace di trasformarsi, germinare, ospitare nuove presenze.

Inhabited Surfaces

Inhabited Surfaces arises from the observation of everyday objects as living presences, capable of holding memory, use, affection and gaze. Cups, moka pots, glasses and fragments of beloved objects become small sensitive architectures, minimal houses into which the eye can enter and linger. Organic forms made of paper pulp appear on these surfaces, resembling fungi: presences that inhabit the object and alter its perception. The work questions the boundary between the inert and the living: what belongs to the home is never merely a thing, but matter crossed by time, capable of transforming, germinating and hosting new presences.
