Entu

 

Entu, vento in lingua sarda, è un’opera di Land Poetry comunitaria che ho pensato e realizzato nel 2023 presso il Parco Archeologico di Genna Maria a Villanovaforru, in occasione di SeaDoor50, la maratona musicale ideata da Riccardo Pittau per celebrare i suoi cinquant’anni. L’evento era attraversato anche da una forte attenzione verso la protezione del territorio sardo, inteso come bene comune, paesaggio vivente e parte profonda dell’identità individuale e collettiva.

Tra gli alberi ho teso fili sui quali ho appeso teli cuciti e scritti a mano con parole, versi e segni. Le persone presenti sono state invitate a partecipare aggiungendo ai fili strisce di tessuto su cui scrivere pensieri, sensazioni o frammenti nati dall’incontro con il bosco, la musica e la comunità temporanea raccolta intorno all’evento.

Nel corso delle cinquanta ore l’opera si è trasformata progressivamente attraverso i contributi dei partecipanti. Come il vento da cui prende il nome, Entu è diventata una trama mobile di scritture, presenze e relazioni, nata dall’incontro tra paesaggio, parola e partecipazione.

Entu

Entu, the Sardinian word for wind, is a community Land Poetry work that I conceived and created in 2023 at the Genna Maria Archaeological Park in Villanovaforru, during SeaDoor50, the musical marathon conceived by Riccardo Pittau to celebrate his fiftieth birthday. The event was also shaped by a strong commitment to the protection of the Sardinian territory, understood as a common good, a living landscape and a deep part of both individual and collective identity.

I stretched threads between the trees and hung hand-sewn textile panels bearing words, poetic fragments and signs. The people present were invited to participate by adding strips of fabric on which they could write thoughts, sensations or fragments arising from their encounter with the woodland, the music and the temporary community gathered around the event.

Over the course of the fifty hours, the work gradually transformed through the contributions of the participants. Like the wind from which it takes its name, Entu became a moving weave of writings, presences and relationships, born from the encounter between landscape, word and participation.
